MARCH 2021 WATERFRONT PROPERTY STATS

The average list price of a fully detached waterfront home with direct water access in Central Ontario for March 2021 was $2,412,027. The average list price of properties that sold that month was $1,295,358 with an average sale price of $1,349,694. That’s up $63,036 from the previous month with an average sale price of 109% of the full asking price. The average original list price for these sold properties was $1,389,096, days on market was 23 and taxes were $5,193. Statistic calculated through TRREB.

FEBRUARY 2021 WATERFRONT PROPERTY STATS

The average list price of a fully detached waterfront home with direct water access in Central Ontario for February 2021 was $3,072,873. The average list price of properties that sold that month was $1,236,813 with an average sale price of $1,286,658. That’s up $34,766 from the previous month with an average sale price of 109% of the full asking price. The average original list price for these sold properties was $1,250,463, days on market was 28 and taxes were $5,251. Statistic calculated through TRREB.

2020 NATIONAL SALES STATS

National homes sales hit a record new high with 551,392 homes sold in 2020, which is a 12.6% increase over 2019. The average sale price also hit a new record of $620,301, which is a 8.2% increase over 2019. And market conditions were the tightest on record with less then 100,000 active listing by the end of 2020. That is shockingly 31.6% lower then at the end of 2019. The average list price of a fully detached waterfront home with direct water access in Central Ontario for January 2021 was $1,972,272. The average list price of properties that sold that month was $1,250,767 with an average sale price of $1,251,892. That’s up $213,642 from the previous month with an average sale price of 104% of the full asking price. The average original list price for these sold properties was $1,288,183, days on market was 47 and taxes were $6,155. Statistic calculated through TRREB.
